About Life's Destiny Church

Who are we?

The Lord has called us to unapologetically teach and preach about the authority and power, that you have been given, against the continuous barrage of life that is constantly beating you up. Yes, it is time for you to stop being a victim, and learn your God-given heritage.

An in-depth understanding of scripture has been watered down so much that it feels like it is impossible to achieve an understanding of a standard that shows us what is right and what is wrong. How can we be sure that we may be able to turn our life around unless we have someone who cares enough to help us in our walk to find the right answers?

We have learned that no one is going to make changes in their life just because someone tells them they need to change. People are not going to change until they believe that they are the one that needs to make the plan that is going to help them. Therefore, we help with looking at different perspectives that might just happen to be the right gifts and talents you were given by a loving and generous God.

Our call as a discipleship ministry is intertwined with our teaching ministry but also manifests through the giftings of the Holy Spirit.  We believe in the Biblical five-fold ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Preacher, and Teacher.

Assuredly, all followers of Jesus Christ have the ability (with the help of Jesus) to manifest their gifts as the Spirit wills.

We are a member of the network of International Pentecostal Holiness Church's (IPHC).

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

ABOUT THE BIBLE: The Bible is God’s love letter to all of humanity and is the final authority in every issue it communicates. The Holy Spirit inspired human authors to write the books of the Bible. It is thorough, complete, and called the "Word of Truth", and we can trust it for solving all matters in this life -and- for all of eternity.

ABOUT GOD: Scripture teaches that God created everything we can see (and even everything we can’t see) by just saying, “Let there be  . . .”  and things became whatever he said. The Bible teaches that He was "one" in the beginning, yet he existed as three different persons: the Father, His voice was called the Son, and His breath was called the Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are "one," we call them a "Trinity."

ABOUT JESUS: Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the sacrifice for all of mankind’s sins. He died on a Roman Cross, spent 3 days in the grave, defeated death and sin, and rose from the grave. He showed Himself to the Disciples and then ascended to Heaven and will return to the earth one day to reign as King.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT: The Holy Spirit is the very breath of God. His most important duty is to lead all people to understand their need for the Savior, Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit will automatically live inside of every person deciding to be a follower of Jesus. The Spirit will teach you all things and will bring to your remembrance all that Jesus has told us.

ABOUT SALVATION: Our disobedient nature has eternally separated us from our Creator. No matter how hard we try, we can never earn our way back into God’s presence. Our only hope is to trust Jesus as God’s provision of payment for forgiving our disobedience. When you make that decision, to follow Jesus, you step into the abundant and eternal life that Jesus promises all believers.

ABOUT ETERNAL SECURITY: Your salvation is a step only gained through claiming the Lord, Jesus Christ as your Savior. That means it’s not a good deed or great work that you have done. You can’t, or didn’t do, anything to earn your salvation. God’s salvation will be yours, and Jesus will walk with you in all that you do when you live by faith. It can’t be stolen from you, as Jesus is with you always.

ABOUT ETERNITY: Your salvation is a step only gained through claiming the Lord, Jesus Christ as your Savior. That means it’s not a good deed or great work that you have done. You can’t, or didn’t, do anything to earn your salvation. God’s salvation will be yours, and Jesus will walk with you in all that you do when you live by faith. It can’t be stolen from you, as Jesus is with you always.

ABOUT THE CHURCH: The Bible tells us that the Church is the body of Christ and that it is also the local body of baptized believers. The head of the Church is Jesus Christ. The Biblical purposes of the Church are Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Ministry to one another.

ABOUT CHRIST'S RETURN: God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly for us, we will be lifted-up and the dead will be raised to meet Him in the air. And He will come to judge all men in righteousness and to destroy the enemy forever.
